Garage Renovation Reveal

With a large garage built to store four cars, a climbing wall and then some, the Lindlaus needed a strong, organized space to store equipment for the activities they love most. After clearing out the area, the team went to work installing Hi-Impact® XP® drywall to stand up to accidental holes, scratches or scuffs in the new space. Take a look at how the completed garage turned out!

Designer Anitra Mecadon was able to separate the garage into functional areas and draw attention to the coolest parts of the space – the outdoor sign that had been collected by the family, incredible storage unit and custom rock climbing wall. Storage is no longer an issue with mounted hangers for tools, bikes, skis and boards, shelving for miscellaneous storage, and, of course, the family’s new bright red cabinetry. The accent wall and bold pop of red keeps the space feeling vibrant and fresh and the added seating area gives the family a place to relax and visit with each other. As a bonus, their new retractable garage screen door lets the Lindlaus go from garage to a cool, bright and bug-free space in seconds.

Tom Mainville of Story Hill Renovations handled our PURPLE-to-Perfect garage renovation. As a NARI member, we knew we were hiring an individual who had made a strong commitment to professionalism, and Tom did not disappoint.

This garage has gone from cluttered and unfinished to sleek and spacious in a matter of weeks. The walls are now prepared to resist any bumps or scrapes from this active family and the added living space will give the Lindlaus room to work, climb and play no matter what Wisconsin weather blows their way.
